| Dnigh's Dark Eldar Vs. TAU |
| Dark Eldar: Dnigh and his retinue: 705 Points. Alpha 1 and 2. 396 points. Ravager-115 points. 8 jetbikes, 1 w/shredder, 1 w/blaster. 225. 1441 points. TAU: 1 commander and guys that go with him. 30 firewarriors. 2 baracudas. 3 crisis suits. |
| On the first turn, everything went well. The dark Eldar advanced, and put up a good road block with 40 warriors, while the jetbikes and Dnigh advanced down the center. The warriors then opened fire on firewarriors with their cannons, and kill 7 from the first squad. The raider shot lands on a baracuda, disabling the ability to shoot the next turn. Casualties= 7 firewarriors. The TAU advance their firewarriors and 11 warriors of mine while the 2nd baracuda destroyed the lance from Dnigh's raider. The crisis suits stayed behind cover, and advanced into a rocky area, opening fire on the 2nd warrior squad. 4 die. Casualties= 11 warriors, 4 warriors. |
| 2nd Turn brought some good things, but ruined some others. Dnigh's raider advanced, dropping the cargo off and opening fire with its rifles, downing one of the retinue. Dnigh and his men charged the retinue, and killed the other 8, and left one wound on the commander (Shas'O). They lost one Incubi when he struck back. The commander however fell back. The warriors opened fire on the same squad, killing the other 3, while the second warrior squad killed 5 from the 3rd squad. The Jetbikes shot aswell at the firewarriors, and killed 2 from the second squad. Casualties= 10 firewarriors. The firewarriors kept up their advance, killing alltogether 10 more warriors, and then charging leading to the result of... (I thought they were supposed to be bad in CC!!) the death of Alpha 1, and 4 more warriors from Alpha 2. They lost only 3 Firewarriors. The Crisis Suits now came from the rubble and opened fire on the warriors, dowing 3 in Alpha 2. The baracuda took another shot at the raider, ending its miserable life, and killing an incubi. The second Baracuda advanced more, behind cover. Casualties= 9 warriors (Alpha 1), 13 warriors (Alpha 2), Dnigh's Raider, 1 Incubi Master. Whats left??? Alpha 1=0. Alpha 2=3. Dnigh=7 Incubi, 1 hamonculi, Dnigh. Reavers=8 TAU 1 Commander. 3 Crisis suits. 10 firewarriors. 1 Baracuda. |
| Turn 3 just about ended it. Dnigh charged after the commander, killing him, while the reavers shot down 4 of the firewarriors. The 3 warriors shot at the firewarriors, killing 2(Splinter cannons) and then charged to kill 1 more (Sybarite, poison blades). They however lost 2, and lost the morale check. They fled and were quickly ran down. Casualties= 3 warriors, 7 firewarriors. The TAU crisis suits opened fire on Dnigh, while the 3 firewarriors worked on the reavers. In this happening, one reaver died, and 4 incubi perished. His baracuda then laughed at me, because i had nothing to take them down with, and killed Amedais, and 2 more Incubi. His 2nd baracuda downed my ravager. Casualties= Amedais, 2 Incubi masters, 4 Incubi Masters, 1 reaver, 1 ravager. Whats left now??? Dnigh, 1 Incubi Master. 7 Reavers. TAU 3 crisis suits, 1 baracuda. |
| Turn 4.............................................................Turn 5......................................................................Turn 6 Dressed in his proud armor, Dnigh marched towards the crisis suits, dodging shots that would have left him more than dead. He and his last proud Incubi opened fire on them, downing one before being aided in firepower and assualt support from the reavers, which finally brought them down. The reavers soared through the air, shimering in the night sky, while the baracuda tried to get a shot... The baracuda instead focused its attention on Dnigh and his last Incubi, killing the Incubi, and leaving Dnigh gasping with only 1 wound left. Dnigh watched his reavers fly towards the baracuda, then watched the only hope in his army... the blaster... the blaster shot hit, but only made it to not move... Dnigh ran behind some rocks, trying to get out of the mad machines way, while staying alive... the reavers were torn apart... 3 downded by the massive force of the angry baracuda... Dnigh fell back further while the reavers came around again for another shot... The Blaster hit home, sending the ship up in flames, and ending the battle... |
