| The army lists are as follows: Eldar: HQ-Seer Counsil ELITES-NONE TROOPS-2(16,14) Guardian squads. FAST ATTACK-NONE HEAVY SUPPORT-Falcon, Reapers, Fire Dragons. Dark Eldar- HQ- Dnigh(Archon), Deremi(Drachon). -8 Incubi per guy. Both on Raiders. 1 Hamonculi per squad. ELITES-NONE TROOPS-2 20 man Warrior squads. FAST ATTACK- 4 Reavers. HEAVY SUPPORT- Ravager. Backround: Having fought the Eldar before, this same player, i knew his tactics of sit there and watch my guys burn as they ran in. Thats why i wanted to get in there fast with my HQ and Raiders. Turn 1... Well, the Eldar went first... Eldar moved their Dragons in behind complete cover. Their Guardians moved into forest. Falcon opened fire on my raider with Deremi. Killed it. 1 Incubi died in the crash. Reapers opened fire on my Other Raider, killed it, 2 incubi died in crash. (So much for getting in fast...) Seer counsil moved behind Guardians. Casualties= 3 Incubi Dark Eldar moved Incubi (Both HQ squads) forward to get closer. Warriors advanced and opened fire on guardians (6) who were unlucky enough not to be 6" inches into the forest. 5 of the 6 died. Ravager moved to a good vantage point and opened 2 disintegrators on fire dragons, 4 died. Casualties= 5 guardians, 4 fire dragons. |
| Turn 2... Eldar move seer counsil into open. Guardians advance. Fire Dragon cant regroup, falls back 4 inches. Reapers open fire on Dnigh's squad. 2 Incubi die. Falcon blasts apart warriors. 8 die. Casualties= 2 Incubi, 8 warriors. Dark Eldar move warriors into position, open fire on guardians, kill 5 again. Dnigh and Deremi move forward, Incubus use helms to kill 3 guardians from the second squad before assaulting them and killing 9. (2 remain) Ravager delivers a killing blow to 3 reapers. My reavers blast in from reinforcements only to kill the last guardians. (6 altogether remain, all from squad 1)... Casualties= 19 guardians, 3 reapers. Wow, that was a suprise, i was happy i got those good dice rolls! |
| Turn 3... The remainder of the eldar force held their gorund while taking down 7 warriors, 5 incubi, and a reaver. The falcon got a lucky shot and took down the ravager. The Reapers decided to have fun, and took down the rest of Deremi's squad. Casualties= 7 Warriors, 1 Drachon, 8 Incubi, Reaver, Ravager, 1 Hamonculi. Dnigh, over powered to say the least, gave up, the first of 2 losses by the Dark Eldar... I decided i would put a loss here, so commanders can know what to do, and what not to do...
